I have always had a great cheese steak from pepper jax grill. I entered a clean store with friendly staff cooking my order. I went with the steak philly with extra onion, green bell peppers cheese and mushrooms at no additional cost. The french fries were nice and hot fresh out of the fryer. Once you are done with your meal staff comes around and picks up your tray. The male restroom was clean. I will be returning again, I would like to try a cheese steak with cheese wiz some time soon just curious on who makes one.

Love their rice bowls and cheese steaks... awesome good. Nice quiet atmosphere, and friendly staff too. The kid's menu is pretty sparse though, I really wish there were more and healthier options for them.

I don't live in St Joe anymore and it's the last place I thought I would find vegetarian options at a restaurant, let alone have the staff ask if I'd like then to clean the grill and change their gloves!! I was so impressed. Most restaurants that say they have vegetarian options don't make an effort to keep from cross contaminating, but how refreshing to have had it happen. I can't recommend then highly right...oh, and it was delicious!! I loved my veggie burrito and my dad enjoyed his chicken salad. We'll definitely be back.

This is a good place to eat- too bad I'm on a diet! I get the steak bowl for lunch every now and then and it is easily enough for two meals. Great value and it tastes great! They could go a little heavier on the veggies and less rice, but the taste blends very well.

Happen to be visiting st Joseph Missouri and when asking of local restaurants to try, pepperjax came up. I have eaten at pepperjax in Omaha nebraska many times so I knew I could not go wrong. This new store lives up to the my expectations. St Joseph has another great restaurant in town.
